How To Add Contact Us Form in your WordPress Blog
Whether you are working on your blog or website, it is very crucial to put a contact page for your readers or customers so that they can contact in case, if they need your products or services. A contact form provides your readers an easy way to reach out to you. It is important to make your visitors feel welcome and appreciated. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to make a contact page with contact form without any coding, we will be using Contact form 7 plugin.
Contact Form Plugin
Log into your WordPress account.Lets go into Dashboard > Plugins > Add New,
Search for Contact Form as shown in screenshot, Contact form 7 plugin will be appeared in searched results. Go a head and install this plugin by “Takayuki Miyoshi”.
Click on activate the plugin,
Contact form plugin has been installed and you’ll find a new Contact button on our WordPress dashboard (check left sidebar). what you need now is the contact page on which your form will be displayed. For that you have to add new page. Dashboard > Pages > Add new,
After adding the Contact page on your blog, you need to go Dashboard > Contact as shown.
Copy the short code and just paste it in your Contact page.
Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menu. Add your contact page in your current site menu. After adding the page in menu, You will see Contact option in your main menu as shown,
As you already pasted the code in the page. Open the contact page, form will be on your site. You can also customize the form and can ask information from readers of your interest. Which I will cover in my next tutorial.
